Educational Psychotherapy supporting Parents & Carers
Aspire 2 success helps children in all kind of family settings, supporting parents, including those adopted and fostered throughout Nottinghamshire, Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire.
Working 1:1 with children and young people aged 5-18, we provide time and space for children and young people to take part in activities to help make sense of their difficulties and the factors that are affecting their learning and emotional wellbeing.
Therapy sessions usually take place in school or in one of our clinical rooms , each session lasts for 50 minutes and these are usually during term time. We also provide a day provision where children attend once a week and receive tailored therapeutic support based on their learning, emotional and social needs.
Using a range of proven, structured learning activities such as storytelling, drawing and free play we will help them to gain the confidence and self-esteem they need to better enjoy family life, engage fully at school and ultimately to achieve academic success.
What’s more, we are also able to provide evidence-based tailored interventions to support parents and carers to help them support their children or those in their care, working with them to help their children to overcome internal emotional conflict and unblock their learning.
